WHAT IF YOU COULD SHARE A CUP OF COFFEE WITH ANYONE?

Deaf Communication Device
Seamless communication with the Deaf community, for everyone.
43% Of Deaf people say they walk out of a fast food restaurant before an order is even placed.
93% said that if there was an assistive device then they would be more likely to order.
Meet Ryan...

Ryan was born Deaf and prefers to communicate with American Sign Language (ASL)

He prefers to go out to Starbucks on the rare occasion that he does go out. This is because Starbucks has Deaf Accommodations.
They offer services such as employees who can communicate in ASL or will give a special pad where they can then write down their order.

However, more than half the time there is a miscommunication within the ordering process.
So I began to think, how can I get two way communication between Deaf and hearing?
CONCEPT 1

A picture frame that could translate ASL using hand tracking. I chose to use a picture frame because of how seamless it could blend into an environment.
CONCEPT 2

A pair of bracelets that when one is pressed the other will vibrate to tell the other person they need their attention
Communication is always face to face at the Register and the Tables
